LEAP wireless routers are available from Cisco, and they allow the user to access the internet without a direct connection to the modem. Choose from a variety of LEAP router options such as 128MB flash memory, eight wireless VLANs, autonomous access point and Wi-Fi multimedia certification. These adapters provide high-speed access to the internet from any point in the home or office. In addition, Linksys wireless adapters deliver the same wireless access, but users have the choice between internal PC cards and USB adapters. Linksys adapters send high-speed internet to a laptop or desktop hundreds of feet away from the router.
